About CMC

CMC Graduate School of Business is a highly recognized management school with more than 20 years of experience providing top-quality education.

We keep up with the latest trends, and in response to the constantly changing needs of adult education, we have entered the market with both a new approach to teaching and new training models. Individual development trainings have replaced standard full-time courses. Emphasis is put on effective and practical study plans, measurable output, and ICT application in education. We offer a variety of original executive and language courses, workshops, and custom-tailored programs to meet our clients´ individual needs. We train middle management, human resources managers and specialists, sales representatives, supervisors, and others.

CMC History

2012

CMC acquired a licence of a unique language program DynEd. We realized a comprehensive managerial program for the Union of Cooling and Air-conditioning Technology.

2010

CMC became a member of Netherlands-Czech Chamber of Commerce. Partnership with Czech Management Association and Manažerský svazový fond.

2008

CMC and DC Vision, s.r.o. concluded an agreement on strategic cooperation. Accredited programs Dynamic Manager (27th run) and Human Resource Management (15th and 16th run) run on. New programs Dynamic Foreman, Business English, Business Mastery Series launched.

2005

CMC and Thunderbird, School of Global Business, Arizona open a third class of the Executive MBA in International Management. The class consists of 28 top managers, 13 from the Czech Republic and 15 from 7 different countries.

2003

CMC opens 17th and 18th run of Dynamic Manager program and 5th and 6th run of Human Resource Management

1999

CMC in cooperation with the University of Calgary launches full-time and weekend MBA programs.

1997

CMC ranked in the top 50 best business schools in Europe by the Business Education Commission, Brussels

1995

Phillip Kotler, a highly regarded Marketing professor, lectures at CMC.

1994

The Us Secretary of State, Mrs. Madeleine Albright visits CMC to award USAID grant.

1992

President Václav Havel accepts the post of Honorary Member of the CMC Board of Directors.

US ambassador, Madam Shirley Temple-Black attends the inauguration of the 26 first-year MBA students 

2011

New branch of CMC Graduate School of Business was opened in Prague at Hradčanské náměstí. The opening was accompanied by a workshop with the governor of the Czech National Bank, Mr. Miroslav Singer.

2009

Two groups of MBA students from Thunderbird, School of Global Business, Arizona (80 students) spent 8 weeks at CMC. Accredited programs Dynamic Manager (28th, 29th and 30th run) and Human Resource Management (16th, 17th and 18th run) as well as Business English, Business Mastery Series run on.

2007

Graduation ceremony of the 4th Cohort Executive MBA – 23 students from 10 countries welcomed by Angel Cabrera, President of Thunderbird, School of Global Business, Arizona. The 5th Cohort opened with 23 students from 12 countries.

2004

CMC opens its largest MBA class with 35 students in the Weekend MBA program organized in cooperation with DePaul University. This is the 4th cohort of this program with majors in Finance and Marketing

2001

CMC in cooperation with McGill University, launches the first specialized healthcare management program with seventy-five participants.

Forty-five MBA students graduate, CMC MBA Alumni network includes over 300 graduates

1998

Young Manager program upgraded and re-launched as a program Dynamic Manager.

1996

Young Manager program upgraded and re-launched as a program Dynamic Manager.

1993

CMC launches the first executive MBA program in Central and Eastern Europe (WEMBA).

CMC receives “Center of Excellence” award from USAID agency.

1991

CMC opens its doors as a provider of management and business education in the new economy.

USAID agency provides educational grants.

First full-time MBA program is launched; Young Manager program launched with 51 students.
